SHIV NIWAS PALACE
A crescent adorning
the southern end of the Palace complex, the Shiv Niwas Palace was
originally Maharana Fateh Singhji's residence. The rooms around this
awe-inspiring courtyard were used as a place for entertaining
personal guests. It was the vision of the late Maharana Bhagwat
Singhji, which led to its conversion into a luxury hotel. This is
now categorised as a Grand Heritage Palace as it has been restored
to its original pristine glory.
Elegantly appointed

friendly pool-deck, a treasure-trove of souveniers and precious
gems, a Scottish Band, this former royal guest house has all this

 Shivniwas
Palace Hotel is a crescent shaped building which sits at the
southern end of the palace complex with stunning views over Lake
Pichola and the town spread beneath it. This part of the Palace was
begun at the beginning of the twentieth century and was originally
Maharana Fateh Singhji's residence and it was his vision to its
conversion into a luxury hotel.
At
Shivniwas there are many activities for your enjoyment. There is the
Paantya Restaurant serving simple Continental food and a wide range
of Indian dishes. There is a comfortable bar and seating around the
swimming pool for relaxing or enjoying a snack from our pool-deck
menu. One can also browse in Anmol Gems for fine jewellery and
souvenirs. Perhaps one of the most special moments available to you
is an evening meal in the courtyard by the pool. The combination of
stars, moonlight, background music and shimmering blue waters in
this majestic courtyard makes a very romantic venue.
